The Monterey Fire Dept visited Matthew's preschool a few weeks ago. Luckily I packed an extra change of clothes for him because the ones he was wearing were completely soaked. His teachers said he had a blast & one of them was nice enough to share a copy of these with me.
Our little guy is crawling everywhere, pulling up on everything & really starting to verbally express himself. It's AMAZING how fast time is flying by.
Matthew loves to play with Playdough. He's extremely creative, but it concerns his father a bit that he particularly enjoys lavishing himself with jewelery he's made. :)
Nick was even able to do a little fly fishing while we were there. All that determination, skill & effort finally paid off when he caught the lunker of the year. :)They had fun though & it was a gorgeous day, so what more could they ask for?
Matthew got to ride on his Great Grampa Max's little Caterpillar tractor. My aunt Glenda spoiled Matthew rotten with the whole cowboy get-up for his pony ride. He wasn't afraid at all riding Lil' Paint. Our little Cowboy Joe.
Next we went to my parent's house (near Glacier Park). Ahhh...Flathead Lake. This is the view from their back deck. Not a bad way to wake up in the morning. Matthew & Grampa Matt Andrew & Nana Ciddy
Next we went to visit my grandparents in Dutton (near Great Falls). Matthew had a blast feeding the chickens & gathering eggs. Much safer! This little tractor is my uncle's & is over 50 years old.
On our way to Montana we went through Yellowstone Park. We were definitely able to get "up close & personal" to the bullalo (as Matthew kept calling them) and other wildlife.
Nick's siblings & cousins Nick's Grampa & Nanny, Dad & aunts Cousins It was a nice quiet relaxing event as you can imagine :) We wouldn't have had it any other way though & had such a blessed time together.
We were able to go to Kinnear & Thermopolis, Wyoming in June to attend a special 80th Birthday celebration for Nick's Grampa Joe. We had a great time & got to spend time with a lot of Nick's family that we rarely see. Matthew especially enjoyed seeing all the animals at the ranch.
