Our Little Firefighter

The Monterey Fire Dept visited Matthew's preschool a few weeks ago. Luckily I packed an extra change of clothes for him because the ones he was wearing were completely soaked. His teachers said he had a blast & one of them was nice enough to share a copy of these with me.

Chompers

Look everyone, I've got 6 teeth now. :)

Our Baby is Growing Up

Our little guy is crawling everywhere, pulling up on everything & really starting to verbally express himself. It's AMAZING how fast time is flying by.

Brotherly Tunnel of Love

We got a new tunnel toy for inside the house.
So far no blood has been drawn and they're really enjoying it.

Playdough Fun

Matthew loves to play with Playdough. He's extremely creative, but it concerns his father a bit that he particularly enjoys lavishing himself with jewelery he's made. :)

Rougue River

Nick was even able to do a little fly fishing while we were there.

All that determination, skill & effort finally paid off when he caught the lunker of the year. :)They had fun though & it was a gorgeous day, so what more could they ask for?

Oregon

We made a quick trip to Oregon for Labor Day to visit our good friends. We had a great time and the kids had a blast playing in the beautiful weather.
Matthew & Sara...young love? :)

Our Little Drummer Boys

Fun Times

Matthew got to ride on his Great Grampa Max's little Caterpillar tractor.

My aunt Glenda spoiled Matthew rotten with the whole cowboy get-up for his pony ride.
He wasn't afraid at all riding Lil' Paint.
Our little Cowboy Joe.

Polson

Next we went to my parent's house (near Glacier Park). Ahhh...Flathead Lake.
This is the view from their back deck. Not a bad way to wake up in the morning.

Andrew & Nana Ciddy

Off to Dutton

Next we went to visit my grandparents in Dutton (near Great Falls). Matthew had a blast feeding the chickens & gathering eggs.
Much safer!
This little tractor is my uncle's & is over 50 years old.

Cousins

Andrew & Emily
Madison & Matthew

Bozeman

Our next stop was Bozeman to see my sister & her family. Matthew loved riding in Uncle Shawn's tractor with Grampa Matt.
A little safer ride?

Summer days
Frying up the fish that daddy caught; Or was that uncle Shawn that actually caught it?

Bullalo

On our way to Montana we went through Yellowstone Park. We were definitely able to get "up close & personal" to the bullalo (as Matthew kept calling them) and other wildlife.

Gramma's Boy

Gramma Dede & Andrew

Snackin with Gpa

Matthew & his Grampa Joe enjoying the beautiful WY weather.

Wild Ride

Doesn't this look safe?

The McKethens

Cousins
It was a nice quiet relaxing event as you can imagine :)
We wouldn't have had it any other way though & had such a blessed time together.

At the Griebel Ranch

We were able to go to Kinnear & Thermopolis, Wyoming in June to attend a special 80th Birthday celebration for Nick's Grampa Joe. We had a great time & got to spend time with a lot of Nick's family that we rarely see. Matthew especially enjoyed seeing all the animals at the ranch.
